*JUST IN: University of Ghana sets date for academic activities for fresh Undergraduate students*- Check out details

From the office of the management of the University of Ghana (Legon), academic activities for newly admitted students of the University will commence on Monday, January 18, 2021 to Saturday, January 16, 2021.

However, the dates were stated in their admission letters presented to all successful Undergraduate applicants of the University for the 2020/2021 academic year.

According to the management, academic activities( teaching) will take place largely online from 18 January, 2021. As a result, students are advised to come along with devices for accessing online resources.

It is also stated in the admission letters that, Students are expected to take full participation in a compulsory program of orientation which will commence from Tuesday 12, January, 2021 to Friday, January 15, 2021.

Issues on fees 

Again, students are required to confirm their admission offer by paying a non- refundable commitment fee of 30% of fees within two weeks.

They are to pay a minimum of an additional 20% to enable them to register for the first semester of the 2020/2021 academic year whiles the remaining 50% of fees must be settled by the begin of the second semester.

Henceforth, the university has urged all students who may for any reason at all require financial assistance to contact the student’s loan and trust fund for help.
