2024 BECE Approved Subjects for Registration
The management the Ghana Education Service (GES) has through a statement reveals the 2024 BECE approved subjects for registration.
From the statement released, the GES has directed all Regional Directors to ensure that the exercise is done accordingly.
“Management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) wishes to inform all Regional Directors to ensure that the 2024 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates register the approved courses”, the statement said.
2024 BECE Approved Subjects
For the avoidance of doubt, the subjects to be registered are as follows;
1.Mandatory Subjects : The mandatory subjects include English Language, Mathematics, General Science, Social Studies, Religious and Moral Education, Career Technology and Creative Arts and Design.
2. Elective Subject: The approved elective subjects also mentioned Ghanaian Language (Candidates are supposed to register for the Ghanaian Language they studied).
3. Optional Subjects : French, Arabic and Computing.
Regional Directors are by the release letter requested to communicate this vital information to their respective Metro/Municipal/District Directors of Education for compliance.
