URGENT: A link purporting to be a link for SIM registration is misleading- MTN cautions all Ghanaians

A public announcement from MTN Ghana sighted by Honestynewsgh on SIM Registration wishes to communicate to the general public that a LINK circulating on social media purported to be the official link for the current SIM card Registration is misleading.

According to MTN, their attention have been drawn to a link purporting to be a link for SIM Registration. To clear that misleading statement, the general public should note that the portal is NOT meant for the current SIM Registration exercise as suggested in the messages circulating.

For the current SIM Registration, MTN Ghana is hereby admonishing all persons to follow the 2 Steps process outlined below to register their number.

1. Dail *404# and follow the prompt to link your Ghana Card to your SIM number.

2. Visit an MTN Registration Point for your biometric capture.

1. Ghana Card

2. Ghana Post GPS Address

3. Your Unique Code (*404# to retrieve your unique code)
