Postponement of Reopen Date for SHS 3 and 1 Students
The management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) via it Facebook official page has disclosed that the reopening date for SHS 3 and 1 students has not been postponed.
According to GES, the reopening date has not changed. Students will be reporting to school on 3rd January, 2024.
This comes after a purported statement was seen in the media space, disclosing that the Ghana Education Service has postponed the reopening date due to some reasons.
Students in SHS 1 and 3 were to be reopen on 3rd January 2024. Due to some reasons the reopen date has been postponed to 12th January 2024 . All SHS facilitators should notice this. Guardian and Parents should also notice that, SHS 2 reopen date still remains March 2024, we’ll bring the exact date during February”, the purported statement said.
Form Two students under the double track system will have to wait until March 8, 2024, to begin the first semester and until May 9,2024, to end the semester.
The second semester will begin on July
12, 2024, until November 15, 2024, when
the academic year will come to an end.
