The management of GES, West Akim Municipal hereby invites applications from qualified suitable teachers for consideration for GES Confirmation and Promotion, 2023

According to management, suitable qualified teachers will be promoted to the grade of Senior Superintendent I, Senior Superintendent II and Superintendent I.

This is to say that, the management of the Ghana Education Service has started receiving applications from qualified teachers across the country for the 2023 promotion year.

Eligibility For GES Confirmation and Promotion 2023

CONFIRMATION

1. All Newly-Trained teachers who were recruited in 2022 or earlier can apply.

2. All Pupil Teachers/Graduates (Non-Professional Teachers) who have up-graded
themselves to Professional status in 2022 or earlier can apply.

PROMOTION

1. Applicants are to attach photocopies of their certificates and first appointment letter to the application letters.

A) SUPERINTENDENT I: Certificate ‘A’ teachers who have served continuously for three (3) complete years since 2019 on the rank of Superintendent II.

B) SENIOR SUPERINTENDENT II: Certificate ‘A’ teachers who have served continuously for three (3) complete years since 2019 on the rank of Superintendent I.

C) SENIOR SUPERINTENDENT I: Teachers who have served continuously for three (3) complete years on Senior Superintendent II grade since 2019.

Mode of Application for GES Confirmation and Promotion, 2023

1. Applicants are to submit formal application letter to the Municipal Director through their Headteachers and SISO

2. Attach the following:

(i) Photocopy of Certificates

ii) Photocopy of Last Promotion Letter (if any)
iii) Photocopy of Confirmation Letter

iv) Photocopy of last pay slip and a completed Appraisal Form by Headteacher

Deadline for Submission of Application forms for GES Confirmation and Promotion, 2023

NOTE: The deadline in on 19th May, 2023
Late application will not be considered.
