Pupils of Zaare Experimental primary school situated at the heart of the Bolgatanga Municipality in the Upper East Region have no choice but to lie on the concrete floor to learn as the entire school has only 50 dual desks for the over 300 student population.
In spite of the government’s re-solve to ensure that all children of school age are enrolled for better education, most school children are still studying under bad conditions.
A report monitored by Honestynewgh.com on A1radiooline has revealed that for the past years the school has been deprived of improved learning materials such as furniture, reading books, and other relevant learning materials.
Seeing the plight of the pupils, the 2020/2021 batch of Jackson College of Education in Bolgatanga, who did their out-teaching practices in the school took the initiative to provide the pupils with some furniture and learning materials.
The students through individual contributions provided four dual desks, pencils, erasers and other relevant learning materials to support the pupils.
Honestynewgh sees this situation as a big threat to the future of these students and the country at large. We therefore appeals to all and sundry to immediately come to the aid if these innocent pupils.
