The Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFUND) has started accepting applications for all qualified Ghana students for the 2021 scholarships. Read about the eligibility requirements. If you qualify, then apply. Here is the GETFUND scholarship.

The scholarship is open to all graduates with a first degree who wants to register for the master’s degree at a foreign university when the 2020/2021 tertiary education calendar starts in August/September this year.

Eligibility for GETFUND Scholarships

However, all prospective applicants/ students would be expected to meet other basic requirements to be considered for the Ghana Education Trust Fund Scholarship.

The requirements for the getfund scholarship is as follows:  

• Application letter
• Proof of Nationality
• Copy of Admission letter to the foreign school you intend to attend.
• Fee Schedule from the school abroad
• A copy of Curriculum Vitae
• Copy of 1st-degree certificate from the university you attended
• A copy of the previous transcript from the university you attended which should be duly endorsed by the school as a true copy.
• Copy of National Service Certificate you were issued after completing the service.

NOTE: Closing date for applications is on Friday, 16th July 2021. Please ensure to submit your application early as possible with accurate information.

PROCEDURE FOR APPLICATION 

1. All Appicants are requred to visit the GETFund website  www.getfurd.gov.gh
to complete an online application form.

2. Applcant is required to select the link to entry form by selecting the Country of institution of the applicant.

3. Applicant shall complete the online form for preliminary vetting and shortisting.

4. Applcant will be contacted for shortisted after preliminary vetting.

5. Shortisted Applicants shall be required to subrmit scanned copies of supporting documentation for verification.

6. Shortlsted applicants will be invited for Interviews on their submitted applicatlon.
