The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has officially released the Timetable for the upcoming 2022 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
According to WAEC the examination will commence from Monday 1st August, 2022 with Project work to 27th September, 2022.
Per the released timetable, candidates will sit for the English Language paper on 8th September, 2022, Core mathematics on Thursday, 15th September 2022 whiles Integrated Science will be written on 19th September, 2022.
Important Things All Teachers, Schools Examination Committee and Candidates Must Take Note
1. Difference in Time on Question Paper and Timetable. Where the duration indicated on the question paper differs from that on the timetable, the one on the question paper should be followed.
2. Questions papers to be given out in advance of the date they are to be taken.
a. General Knowledge -in-Arts Paper 3 : They question paper for General Knowledge-in-Arts paper 3 will be given to candidates two (2) weeks before the paper is due to be taken.
b. Project Work Papers
The question papers for project work for Basketry, Graphic Design, Leatherwork, Ceramics, Sculpture, Picture Making, Textiles, Jewellery, will be forwarded to candidates two (2) weeks in advance of the examination. The exact date for the delivery of question papers to candidates will be communicated to them through their schools.
3. Candidates With Visual Impairment and Hearing Impairment should be allowed one and half the time allocated to other candidates.
