GES sends goodwill message with caution to all 2022 WASSCE candidates

The management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) through a press statement has send a goodwill message to all 422,883 WASSCE candidates as they begin their written paper (orals) today.

The management in the press statement also urges all candidates to be extra conscious of activities which will have the potential of undermining the integrity of the
examinations.

The West African Senior School Certificate Examination(WASCE) written papers begin today, Monday 29th August 2022. at all the designated 775 centers across the country.

Management of Ghana Education Service (GES) wishes to congratulate all 422,883 candidates writing the exams for their hard work and fortitude so far and to also express its profound gratitude to all Teachers, Heads of SH/TS, Directors of Education, Parents / Guardians and all Stakeholders for the crucial roles they have played so far in preparing the candidates for the examination.

Management of GES has worked very closely with the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) to ensure the smooth conduct of the
examinations throughout the country.

Regional/Metro/Municipal/District Directors. Supervisors and Invigilators are to take extra precautionary measures to ensure that this years examinations are malpractice free.

Management of GES equally urges all candidates to be extra conscious of activities which will have the potential of undermining the integrity of the
examinations.

Candidates are encouraged to prepare well and strive for independent work and depend on their individual abilities. Candidates should also be mindful of the implications of misconduct during the examinations which could lead to suspension and/or cancellation of results and the negative impact that
development might have on their future prospects.

Management stands by all the key players in the administration and conduct of the examinations and urge all to work together to protect the integrity of the examinations.

Management wishes all candidates good luck and success in their exams.
