A young teacher at Premuase D/A JHS in the Sene-East district has met his untimely death along the Kajaji-Atebubu road, close to Premuase. A report indicates that the deceased, Ennin Kojo Prah was shot dead on July 7 around 1:30pm in the afternoon by armed robbers.

Speaking to the CCT representative at Sene-East district, the deceased is a teacher at kajaji DA jhs and was resuming for his duties as schools has now reopened.
“They shot the driver and our teacher but the driver survived sustaining an injury on his thighs” he revealed.

According to one passenger, the teacher wasn’t the only victim but the driver too was shot and all their belonging were taken away. The robbers were six in number.
Another information received from a colleague teacher in the same district indicates that, the teacher was in a Trotro Van. The passengers in the van were market women and business men who were coming to buy fishes and other stuffs and send them back on Thursday.
She revealed that incidents of this kind have been happening over and over again and no proper measures have been introduced to stop this barbaric act.
