The National Teaching Council (NTC) upon the delay in the first edition of the 2022 Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE) registration, has rescheduled a new date for the exams.
According to the Council, the first edition of the GTLE which is known to take place in March, has been rescheduled to take place in April, 2022.
This new development has come as a result of the delay in the registration and the several reforms that is set to take effect by the Council to improve the exams.
From NTC, part of the new reforms will seek to introduce subject based testing which will examine the proficiency of teachers in their areas of specialisation and the introduction of Computerized based testing (CBT).
