OFFICIAL: GES Releases Reopening Date For All Public Schools, Both Basic & Second Cycle Schools. Check out all details here
A release from the office of the Ghana Education Service (GES ) sighted by Honestynewsgh has revealed the reopening date for all public schools from KG- Primary, JHS and Second Cycle Schools as approved by the Hon. Minister of Education upon recommendations of the Ministerial Committee on School’s Calendar.
Below are the reopening date ( Both Basic and Second Cycle School)
BASIC SCHOOLS
JHS 1-3 – Tuesday, 18th January, 2022
Primary 1-6 – Tuesday, 18th January, 2022
K.G 1-2 – Tuesday 18th January, 2022
SECOND CYCLE SCHOOLS
SHS 3 – Monday, 7th February, 2022
SHS 2 – Monday, 7th February, 2022
SHS 1 – Monday, 4th April, 2022 (Tentative)
According to the release signed by the Public Relations Unit of the Service, the full calendar for the 2022 academic year from pre-tertiary public schools will be made avallable at various media platforms, MoE/ GES website and other social media handles.
