The management of Ghana Education Service upon the release of the Computerized School Placement has come out with a “call centre number” to help all persons with issues relating to the 2021 school placement.
According to the management of GES, this call centre number is the only approved number all persons must call for any issue or enquiry. Persons with issues related to the school placement can contact only this number from the hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm daily.

Beware of Fraudsters
GES has noticed some unscrupulous persons at the internet cafes, charging parents some amount of money with the assurance of getting students who were not placed on the computerized placement exercise into schools of their choice.
“No person should pay any amount to anyone who claims to be working at the GES for change of placement. Note that the GES does not and cannot change anyone’s school. Hence candidates who fell out of their five choices are to do self placement on the same CSSPS Portal ” GES advices.
Public Relations Officer (PRO) for the ministry, Kwasi Kwarteng, has urged parents to remain calm as there are so many un-utilised vacancies, meaning every student will definitely get a placement in schools.
“I want parents to stay calm and no cause for alarm, those who will go for self-placement should not be scared at all because we have so many school vacancies, we have about 213, 88 vacancies and I can assure you that every student will not be left alone but will definitely get a placement,” he said.
