The National Teaching Council (NTC) has announced to organise a virtual orientation programme for 5 officers in each district as well as 5 from each region on how they can use Ghana teacher portal to track teachers records.
According to NTC, participants after the Ghana teacher portal orientation programme are expected to be able to input CPD points on the portal for teachers who undertake CPD activities.
The participants shall include:
Category A: Regional Education officers:
The Regional Director
The Regional Training Officer
The Regional officer in charge of data management
The Regional officer in charge of supervision
The Regional officer in charge of Human Resource management
Category B: District Education officers:
- The District Director
- The District Training Officer
- The District ICT officer
- The District officer in charge of supervision
- The District HR
The virtual training programme would be coordinated by regional training officers with support from respective Regional Directors.
