Latest Update On The Nationwide Issuance Of Teacher License For All In-Service Teachers. It begins from 17th May. Check the plan/ Timetable For Distribution
A release from the office of the National Teaching council (NTC) wishes to informs all teachers that it will commence the nationwide issuance of Teacher License and Registration Numbers for both public and private school teachers.
According to the Council, this exercise will begin in the Greater Accra Region at the circuit centres from Monday 17th May, 2021. Detailed schedule is available on tpg.ntc.gov.gh and all NTC social media handles.
RECOMMENDED
The Ministry of Education, the National Teaching Council and the Ghana Education Service will launch the Teacher License and Registration programme on Friday, 14th May, 2021 at the Ministers Conference Room (MOE). The Honourable Minister of Education, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum will be the Guest of Honour.
Targeted GES Staffs
Qualified teachers, in the context of the current exercise, refers to teachers who have been trained and certified as teachers by accredited colleges and universities that train teachers.
Non-qualified teachers temporary licensing shall follow after registration

All teachers within the Greater Accra Region are required to first register on the NIC portal and also to avail themselves for the licensing at the circuit centres as scheduled.
