School children of the Lobab International school were seen running for their lives on Friday following a fire outbreak at a shoe factory at Atonsu-Agogo in the Ashanti region.
It was reported on Friday, June 17, 2022 that there was a fire outbreak involving gas tanker at the shoe factory near the school when the gas tanker discharging fuel at the company exploded.
As a result, the pupils were made to run from the school premises to prevent any casualties. It was also noticed that some parents rushed to the school to pick their children.
Firefighters managed to get to the scene to bring the situation under control and as well prevent the gas tank from exploding.
According to report received by Honestynewsgh, the explosion has left three people injured.
The incident occurred while a tanker was discharging gas into the company’s cylinder. The vehicle caught fire during the process, causing panic among workers present.
