Speaking to Honestynewsgh, the group appeals to Government, the Ministry of Education and Ghana Education Service to post all Qualified Newly Trained Teachers who met the requirements for posting set by the Ghana Education Service (GES).

According to the group, they have been to the GES headquarters many times and had followed all the directives that were given to them but still they are yet to receive a single response from them.

” The system will be updated and all of you will receive your posting”, is what they always tell us whenever we visit the headquarters.

“We humbly call on the Ministry of Education (MoE), Ghana Education Service (GES) and all other stakeholders involved to, as a matter of urgency, fast track the release of postings for all Qualified Newly Trained Teachers”, they added.

” People in the communities we come from see us as waste because we are just a burden to the community. We have sent our petition to the GES but they have not given us any concrete response”, one person said.

“We want to state categorically that, government failure to show any positive interest in our plight by next week Tuesday, will compel us to stage series of demonstrations across the country capital including picketing the forecourt of the office of the Ministry of Education (MoE)”, they stated.
