NEWS IN: GES Invites All JHS Teachers To The Upcoming 3-Days Non- Residential Cluster Based CCP Curriculum Training. Check out date and all details HERE

The Ghana Education Service (GES) in collaboration with the National Council of Curriculum Assessment (NaCCA) has scheduled a 3- Day Non-Residential Training Worshop for all Junior High School Teachers across the country starting on Tuesday, 12th January, 2022 to 14th January, 2022.

Following the decision to ensure full implementation of the Common Core Programme (CCP) in the impending Academic year, there is the need for Cluster Based Training for all Junior High School (JHS) Teachers.

In view of this, the Ghana Education Service (GES) is inviting all JHS teachers to attend  the  Workshop.

According the GES, Regional Directors of Education are kindly requested to communicate the information to all
Metro/Municipal/District Directors to invite all JHS teachers to fully participate in this important training programme. This includes all newly posted JHS teachers.

Again, each Metro/Municipal/District Director is to make arrangement for a suitable venue for the training programme.

Below is the schedule for the training programme.

Venue: To be determined by the Metro/Municipal/District Directors of Education

Date: Wednesday, 12th to Friday, 14th January, 2022

Metro/ Municipal/ District Directors of Education should ensure the observance of all covid-19 protocols and extend all the needed courtesies to the facilitators and participants for the success of the programme.

From the management, the Visually Impaired Teachers must go along with their Braille sheets and or recorders to be able to participate fully in the workshop. The Hearing Impaired Junior High School (JHS) Teachars must be supported by their hearing counterparts from their schools to enable them participate fully in the training.
