MONICOE students applicants receive their mobile phones from T-TEL

As part of the measures to increase the impact of technology in the Tertiary Education especially in the Colleges of Education, Transforming Teacher Education and Learning (T-TEL) has been giving Smartphones to trainees at a flexible payment structure to aid their learning process.

The distribution which began some months ago in some Colleges within the Volta and the Northern Region has finally hit St. Monica’s College Of Education (MONICOE).

On Tuesday, April 2, 2020, trainees applied from the institution were given their smartphones. In total Huawei Y7 prime 2019 smartphones with memory cards were received by the College. Distribution is ongoing with the level 200s and level 100s who applied would be made to go to campus for their phones.

Speaking with TWJ, the Students Representative Council (SRC) PRO, Miss Sandra Abena Ntiamoah commended T-TEL for such a brilliant initiative and added that it is going to be a very long way to help the ladies in MONICOE in their request to surf the internet for more information in their content of study.

She equally admonished the beneficiaries to kindly abide by the payment scheduled to help enable it’s continuity in the institution.

In conclusion, Miss Sandra used the opportunity to wish all the level 200 Students the very best in their examination and urged them to take their books seriously in this preparation mode.
