GES Sends Vital Notice To All BECE Graduates Concerning The 2021 SHS Selection / Sensitization Program

The Ghana Education Service GES in a press release dated 10th October 2021 stated that the school selection phase of the 2021 BECE will commence after the candidates have successfully completed the exams . It further indicated that details pertaining to the 2021 schools selection processes will be communicated to stakeholders in due course.

The 2021 BECE has ended successfully, hence it is time for all graduates to get assisted by their teachers and parents to make an informed choice in selection of their schools.

In view of that, the Ghana Education Service wishes to communicate to all candidates, parents and teachers that it will organize a series of sensitization programmes on the SHS schools selection process.

Henceforth, parents are not to send their BECE graduates on vacation or travel since the sensitization exercise and selection of schools will require the presence of the candidates.

The sensitization programme is scheduled to kick off on Monday, November 22, 2021. The BECE graduates will go through the sensitization exercise for seven (7) days before the schools selection starts.

The selection process will base on three (3) essential categories namely;

1. The Preferred Schools

2. Programme To Be Offered

3. The Accommodation Type ( Day / Boarding)

BECE graduates are to stay at where they completed patiently and finish this exercise before making any move to prevent any unfavourable situation when the school placement results are released.
