The management of the Ghana Education Service wishes to inform the general public that the vacation date for Public Basic Schools for the third term has been shifted.
From the management, Public Basic schools vacation date has been shifted from 15th of December to Friday, the 16th of December, 2022.

According to the management, this new changes is to enable the Primary For (4) pupils to write the National Standardised Test on Friday 16th December.
Pertaining to this new changes, the reopening date for the first term of the next academic year has also been shifted to 10th December, 2023.
Regional Directors are kindly requested to communicate this information to the
Metro/Municipal/District Directors of Education to inform all Heads of Basic Schools to take note and act accordingly.
