The Free Senior High School is under serious review and the exercise is led by the World Bank as part of measures to properly assess the the effectiveness and Cost of implication of all social stakeholders programmes currently under implementation.
The Finance minister Kenneth Ofori Atta revealed this to daily graphic saying, the review is part of the efforts to streamline the the government expenditure.

It is understood that the review is one of the actions that the government is undertaking to ensure and assure of fiscal prudence in the quest for a $3 billion support from the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
From the Minister, the exercise will not collapse the Free Senior High School and the School Feeding Programme.
He said the results of the exercise would aim to strengthen the initiatives by improving targeting and spending.
Mr. Ken Ofori-Atta on clearing the air on why government turned to the World Bank said it was to allow fresh eyes on the initiatives.
