Director General Sends Strong Warning To All Basic Sch Teachers (Primary & JHS) Over New Vacation Date

Following the unexpected change of vacation date for all Basic Schools by the Ghana Education Service (GES), the Director General of Education, Prof Opoku Amankwah in his jurisdiction has on today 7th December, 2021, has sent a strong warning to all Basic Schools Headteachers and Teachers (Primary & JHS) who are finding it very difficult to accept the new development.

According to the Director General, the new development has come to light as a result of the National Standard Test that will be written by all Basic four (4) pupils on 17th December, 2021.

In a communique through the Regional Directors of Education, the DG insist that NO PRIMARY OR JHS TEACHER should absent him or herself from school whatsoever until the National Standard Test comes to an end on the aforementioned date.
