2022 BECE School Selection Sensitisation Exercise, All Candidates, Teachers & Parents Must Take Note
Management of the Ghana Education Service wishes to inform the general public that as part of measures to ensure smooth school selection by 2022 BECE candidates, there will be sensitisation exercise for teachers, parents/guardians, candidates and the general public across the country.
The exercise will throw more highlight on the School Selection Guidelines and any updates
introduced in the Second Cycle School Register for all stakeholders.
The National Coordinator and SSPS will work with Regional Education Directorates to agree on venues.
Monitoring Teams from the Ministry of Education and the Ghana Education Service will be in the regions to monitor the exercise.

By this letter, Regional Directors are requested to communicate this intormation to Metro/Municipal/District Directors of Education to inform Heads ot Basic Schools about this important exercise and release the SISOs for the training.
The Details of the Exercise are a Follow;
1. Meeting of SISO’s (22nd October, 2022 – 23rd October, 2022).
2. Meeting of Regional and District Directors (24th October, 2022)
3. Showing of school selection videos of BECE candidates (24th Oct, 2022 – 29th October, 2022)
4. Selection of Schools by candidates, Parents and guardians ( 31st October, 2022 – 18th November, 2022).
