2019 Non- Posted Newly Trained Teachers Cry Foul On GES Over Posting

Members of Non-Posted Newly Trained Teachers of 2019 years batch is calling on the general public to forgo speculations that all trained teachers from the 46 colleges of Education who applied for Postings last year have been posted.

“We applied when the portal was opened last year and waited with much optimism for Ghana Education Service to release postings. The postings were released but we were not posted.

We have all it takes to be posted per the requirement of the GES, but due to some strange reasons our names were omitted from the  posting list”, one person bemoaned.

According to some of the affected members, they have been to the GES headquarters many times and had followed all the directives but it appears that the GES is dragging it’s feet on the matter.

“We called the Director General of Education on this matter and he assured us that they are working on it and it is due to some anomalies that had led to the delay. We then went to the headquarters to clarify things but we got there and we were told different thing.

We want to vocally state with much importance that we are only well meaning Ghanaians who are fighting for what is rightfully ours,” they told Honestynewsgh.

“We are humbly appealing to the Government, the Ministry of Education, the GES and other stakeholders involved to, as a matter of urgency, fast track the release of postings of we the qualified but Unposted newly trained teachers”, they pleaded.
